It’s what we get excited to do if it’s New York or San Francisco that have the pleasure of our company at Summer Time but now Dublin is shifting the film screen outside too. And these are good movies. Cult classics. Movies that everyone has seen but you havn’t quite gotten round to just yet. From Amelie and Pulp fiction to The Wizard of Oz and Aliens. Starting on May 10th, the movies wait til dusk, not kicking off until 10.45pm. There are no excuses, this is the perfect day to wind down your week or a beautiful start to the next! We’ll be regulars!
Where Were You? is a photographic documentation of Dublin’s youth between 1950 and 2000. Photographers such as Tony O’Shea, Derek Speirs, Bill Doyle and Fergus Burke pooled their work to form an 5,000 strong archive from which 800 made the cut. Ticket stubs, personal photographs and memorabilia from the public prevent an average portrayal and result in something a bit more personal, highlighting the electricity of Dublin culture
