Reel Sexy is the acidic new palette for M.A.C cosmetics. The intensive short starring Kristen McMenamy, shot by husband Miles Aldridge, screams dramatics, from it’s cinematic setting to the highlighter shades of the make up. The tone left no doubt in Creative Director James Gager’s mind as to who should star. “There is nothing that isn’t dramatic about Kristen, from her statuesque body and long gray hair, to the way she carries herself,”He says. “It was an amazing experience to watch her because she was literally watching nothing on the screen. She gave all this great emotion and was so much into it that she actually cried.”
