The launch of James Cooper’s album Foreign Cities is a hybrid of audio, visual and literary elements being showcased in The Sugar Club, Dublin tonight. A short film accompanies each track complemented by a literature reading as well. The directors and writers were given a clean slate from which to work, with only Foreign Cities as a guideline, ensuring what will no doubt be an eclectic mix of creativity and originality that allows individuals to take what they see and hear as opposed to being fed what the creators want them to absorb.
